An EU-SILC based composite indicator for material deprivation
The NSIs of the EU-SILC countries estimate, yearly, a set of basic indicators and two synthetic indicators of material deprivation and transmit them to EUROSTAT.
This work presents the experience gained at ISTAT in estimating a composite indicator for material deprivation using the EU-SILC based basic indicators of material deprivation.
